    Question one big backup

    i get remote backups daily. i was wondering can i download a complete backup of all the accouts through whm. i want to keep backups on my computer because if something happened i can imedately fix it.

    Since these are owned by root (backups), you will need to use FTP software that acknowledges FTP over SSH and login as root to download these backups to your personal PC.

    The other alternative is to use CPanel and WHM to backup to a remote server which will prevent problems if something happens with server A.

    I would i do that. What shell commands should i use.

    Notice: i have full access to the server.

    That all depends on which you were referring to.
    If you're after cpanel transferring to another server (note: server, NOT home pc!), you will need to set that up in the cpanel backup setup, it's not a "shell command".

    If you're after the ftp over ssh method, then you will need to pick up a specific ftp client that handles ftp over ssh2 (or ssh) connections, as root access over ftp is incredibly bad.
