iPowerWeb Refund

Has anyone had any problems with getting refund from iPowerWeb? I cancelled 2 accounts nearly 3 months ago, but still haven't seen the refund yet. Called them several times and no one had any answers either. A while back, they were rather quick in refunding unused portion of the hosting fee. Can't believe now their service has sank to this new low.

Did you cancel within 30 days or after 30 days?

I was unable to find anywhere on their website that they offer refunds after the first intial 30 days.

I was also unsuccessful at finding information on their money back guarantee aswell. Since you have called, and no luck with that. There is not much else you can do except wait. They did give you a time frame on refund? Better yet, is it listed in their SLA, AUP, or TOS? It should be if not.

If you search ipowerweb in this forum, you will find many problem threads. Also, I agree with other people who say ipowerweb have problems. Review is NOT true, because the hosts can pay for good review or even they post good reviews with anonymous names.

If you paid via paypal, make a claim and get your money back. Alot of clients are always complaining about their hosts ignoring their calls for just a few dollars.... what a shame.

For just a few dollars, hosts can do bad jobs?
If only few people complain, it is understandable,
but many people have problems with Ipowerweb.

In my case, it is not money back issue. They suspended
my account without notice and never reply. Still,
I do not know why they suspended my account.
I used 18 months and contents of the site were same.
There was no problem. So, at least, I can guess, it was not
the content issue.

If someone wants to use Ipowerweb, it is his/her choise.
Just I am telling my experience with Ipowerweb.
I believe it is not my fault, if it is, still I am waiting for their excuse.

You may want to read Paypal's rules on refunds.

If you paid by credit card then call your credit card company to get a refund but beware ipowerweb holds domain names hostage like they did to me.

Well yeah, if you didn't pay for it, why should you keep it? Domain registration costs hosts money. If you charge back whatever you paid to a host for the domain, why would they give you the domain since you took your money back?

It only makes sense for them to take the domain back.
