AWH: How are they different ?
Hi,
Iam a lttle confused with the hosting plans that AlwaysWebHosting is offering.
With the "Platinum Plan $24.95", I get 2 GB of disk space and 60 GB of BW and can host unlimited domains.
However if I opt for the "Starter Reseller $34.95", I'd be having only 1GB and 15GB of BW with unlimited domain hosting option.
So, if that's the case isn' the Platinum Plan @ $24.95 advantageous ?
What is that Iam missing here ?
I've left them a message using their live support but got the following response which is very frustrating. How could they expect the users to register to ask just one simple question through "UN"liveLY support ?

Hi Analyst,
Simply enough, the reseller plan gives you the ability to set up sites for clients, and bill them, as a reseller through WHM & Cpanel. You can't use our shared hosting plans to set up sites for clients if you were a web designer, for example.
Our reseller plan are very comparable or offer 'more for less' than many of the reseller web hosts I've researched from their posts here on WHT.
Haha, you're right about the Live Support. That is linked to "support@alwayswebhosting.com" which is our registration-required help desk. I'm changing the "offline live support" to email to our main email, thanks for alerting me to this! All fixed !

Hi Ronnie,
Thanks for the "NOW" lively response. But Iam still confused.
If I go with the ""Platinum Plan $24.95" plan I can still host multiple domains right ? say for example www.HTTPHITS.com, www.WEEKENDERS.com etc..
These could be my own sites or my clients. How would you know to whom exactly do they belong and most importantly can I use your ""Platinum Plan $24.95" to host these multiple domains ?
If no, then what does "Unlimited Domains per account, Wow! (Yes, they are completely free-standing accounts, own email, control panel, logs, etc.)" mean ?
Thanks.

Your questions are making me wonder if you are going to try to pull one over on us.
Yes, you can surely host multiple domains with our Platinum Plan, as we advertise on our site ("unlimited domains per account").
When we set these up for you, we usually check the WHOIS for the domain and the details of the clients request. It helps when clients say "I want you to set up johndoe.com and abcclub.com because I am the president and maintain their site", etc.
If we can obviously tell you are trying to set up sites for friends, or clients, that won't fly. That's not how our services are meant to be used. They should sign up for their own account. But, if the sites you are asking for legitimately are yours or sites you operate/run, then we should have no problem.
I'm not sure if this followup makes anything clearer for you.

Why AWH ?
Hello Vibe,
Yes, you folks were definitely in my list apart from some others and you indeed provide some TOP NOTCH hosting plans. But the main reason I decided to go with AWH is because of the SIXTY GIGS :-O) ...WOW, that's a lot and I really needed that..
I've also checked your plans but you folks were just offering 15 GB
even in your reseller-1 plan :-|
..yea, iam also aware of the several concerns that were expressed wrt to the BW monitor @ AWH but on reading the comments they provided @ http://webhostingtalk.com/showthrea...&threadid=50413 they sounded quite reasonable ...
..well, now about Cyberpix..hmmn, yes they sounded good and even had some good recommendations but they still did not respond to any of my queries on AWH. May be they don't need to respond to my posts on AWH but for people like me that makes a lot of difference.
Last but not the least, even though Iam not spending some hundreds of bucks each month for my hosting, I still value the 25 bucks that Iam spending each month and I'd definitely come up against AWH if they seem to be indifferent in the future.
But as of today and as of now they are providing "MY KIND-OF" service and I think they deserve my comments today.
Hope that helps.
PS: Vibe, it's just the BW concern in your case and nothing else.
Regards,

Sorry if somehow my post looked like I was asking why you didn't choose us because thats how you responded, I was just asking why not cyberpixels, because they did have much better reviews then awh. Though you did answer my question, the banwidth,
Thanks for your Time
