451 Temporary local problem - please try later'

When trying to send mail from Outlook I get this error,

An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Re: InvertHost - Orders', Account: ' (2)', Server: '', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '451 Temporary local problem - please try later', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 451, Error Number: 0x800CCC6A

Whats wrong? It worked before, can you fix? Thanks.

Also can you please get someone to go on LiveChat support?? NO ONE is EVER on it!!! Every single time I ask no one still gets on it.

    Best Regards,

check the error log, sounds like cpanel, so it should be /var/log/exim_maillog

It sounds like he's on a shared host from his last comment:

Sorry, but you'll have to contact your host to fix your problem up, as it looks like a server issue.

Your hosts account on these forums has been disabled as it seems:

is both and hosted on the same mail server as I see your Account name and Server name is different.

the 451 message usually derived from DNS problems. You will need to have your host check that for you

It could be the SMTP requires authentication before sending. Try to check that option in your Outlook.

Temporary local problem usually means it's having problems with DNS resolution.

I have fixed the issue. Following are the steps

    1. vi /etc/exim.conf
    add the following line
    av_scanner = clamd:/var/clamd

    2. check for file /var/clamd

    3. If not please start clamd service.

    This steps fixed the issue.

    Inverthost is also scams.

They are really not that proffessional. Its a 14 year old kid and a guy who are running resellers. Who threatend to doss my website a ccouple of months back.
They are offing dedicated servers but no datacenter thats wierd resellers with dedicateds? Scam every body should know.

Once they stole a boys boxedart account and channged the pass and then wouldn't return it. There support is never online because they are scams. Why?

I shouldn't have to explain myself i have others for that.

I cant post links so here try that
Read that post. Their support is also horrible when once i Instant messaged them, left a ticket and got nothing. Horrible now i am with people who have 4 datacenters their isp's, webdesigners, and underground web network creating an mmorpg check my sig. They are truly the best.

    451 temporary local problem

This error occured for me just after migrating from one host to another using the exact same setup (cpanel/whm, on CentOS). After reviewing logs (/var/log/exim_rejectlog and exim_mainlog) I did the following and resolved issues.

Goto Cpanel for the specific domain/host. Under MX record, set the MX record to local (this server is supporting the domain I use). The default of (Automatic) will reject a localhost.localdomain server. So also please make sure your server responds properly.

You should check port number 25 activity at your local network :-

    #telnet 25

This will show you 25 port's activity.

And stop using SSL in your outlook, as port number 25 doesn't do for SSL

SMTP SSL port number is 465

And it seems you are on shared hosting, and i think your hosting provider don't provide you smtp over SSL

So disable SSL in your outlook.
