how to set Windows Media Player as the default for wav files?


Hello

i have a problem after installed new music software player, can any one tell me how to set Windows Media Player as the default for wav files ?I have to reset the setting everyday when I download a new song. Thanks alot

right click on the file -> Open With -> Choose from list -> Select Program - > Check "Always Use this program when opening same file type".

Goto the tools menu in WMP and goto the FILE TYPES tab and select which formats you want handled by WMP there

Fire up Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > File Types

Set your default application for any file in there.
