probably the fastest and easiest way to do it is with a external harddrive, you just mount it and tell whm to backup there, you can get a 300 gig ext. drive from newegg for 150$. However, unless you want to get two external harddrives, there would be no real way to take a backup offsite, tapes may be helpfull because you can just replace them every week, and rotate one set off-site, I'd hate to see the building burn down and even though you had a very comprehensive backup plan, all of them go down with it. Tapes may be more expensive depending on the kind of machine or tape drive you get to do it.
