VPS Requirement for My Site

Hello,
I`m currently having a VPS with spry and we are quite Ok with them but recently I have been having spurt in my traffic which has made my site slow. I run a phpBB forum with approximate 200 users at any given time .
I`m currenly having cpanel VPS with 512 MB RAM. I would request you to let me know what if I add more RAM to my current VPS should ease things or what other option do you suggest ?
Regards,
Dragon

well all you need to do is get a memory upgrade and that should sort out the prob but if you are running a forum with about 200 users and any given time its gonna put strain on the cpu now what i would dop is go for a cheap dedicated server with andout 2-4 cpus and that will also solve the problem.

I dont think you'll find a cheap dedicated thats going to give you the same services that your getting for that price range. I think a ram upgrade is the best solution here. If you do start to need even more after that though your almost certainly going to need to get your own dedicated box.

It doesn't make sense to recommend "get more ram" without seeing his current usage.

Dragon - how much ram is currently being used? It is not likely that ram usage is the problem here, it's much more likely this is load related. Can you show us the output of "cat /etc/user_beancounters" and also give an estimation of the average load?
