If you paid via paypal you might be able to get it back, same for credit card companies. Make sure that your address was correct and that emails didn't go to your bulk mail

Out of good will, I have attempted to call the number above. The phone rang out and eventually the voicemail came on. I would advise to contact paypal (if that was the payment method used) and have the return your funds, and attempt contacting the number listed above. Good luck next time!

Thank you all, I choosed this company because he seems active on the forum but after a closer look he wasn't active as I though. I purchase the package through Paypal. It's funny, I'm wondering how much time it will take before I get an answer from him on the forum. Before I sold my business you could be sure I was answering all thread related to our company the same day. Are you sure I can be refunded through Paypal ?

    Thanks again!

lol to be honest you do not speak to customers like that. If it was blocked by Northtrex's account then why did you not find out?
Great way to attract customers mate, it is not their fault it is yours. If you take the money you need to make sure you answer their emails. You are charging for a service that he does not access to.
I suggest you buck up your ideas and treat customers with respect. In this situation you should want to do all you can for the customer and offer a refund for the first payment.... at the very least apologise! Secondly in a very imature way you have posted that email that was supposedly sent.

Are you going to offer a refund?

Why should he? If you send an email you usually expect it to arrive. How should you know it didnt? Spamming the customer to force him to reply?

I do not see it that way. If I sign up for something and do not receive a confirmation email I should contact them again.

As far as it seems, the emails were answered.

So I could sign up with your service without paying and still keep the account? After all I am the customer and so always right.

I do not see this as necessary in this case.

Matey, at the end of the day I would offer you a refund for the month if I had seen you did not recieve the email and if you had emailed me saying you were unhappy.
At the end of the day I'm offering support advice and maybe he will get to keep his customer

According to the previous posting, its not even a month. So by now the customer should have got his information. If he does not want to stay, his money could be refunded as type of goodwill, but demanding it is not justified, just as saying it is the company's fault.

    look both of you relax.

he ordered the shoutcast server at the end of march, 30th ish, it was setup and emails were sent.
he did NOT attempt to email me at all reguarding the server. he cancelled his server a few days ago.
the first i even heard about this problem was when a client showed me this thread. he has still made no attempt to contact or email me. thats the way it is.
