Hello,

Ive searched for a long time but never seem to find anything thats right for me.

Im looking for a low end dedicated server located in the UK or Europe. I need the following as a minimum:

1.5GHz CPU or higher
256MB RAM or higher
500GB Bandwidth or higher
10Mbps or higher
80GB Hard Driver or higher
Windows 2003 Web/Standard edition

I have a maximum budget of £45/month plus £20 setup fee max.

I have tried LayeredTechnologies but the pings are too high for me with it being US based but their network (Savvis) is pretty good.

you are not likely to get that in the UK as bw isn't cheap here
as for europe, leaseweb? but probs not with windows

You wont find that in the UK, I wasnt even counting the Windows!

Not many people sell low-ends like that, as it is highly unprofitable.

if you colo you could with 49pence, but the setup fee would be the price of the server, which is a slight amount more than £20

I have never used so dont know about uptime, quality etc.

Check the dedicated offers forum - there was just a post for a much better machine and even lower than your price range in the UK.

PLenty of European providers will ba able to meet your requirements and budget. Where have you looked so far?
