As of yesturday mysql will not start (I have not upgraded at all before anyone things that is my problem) The following is the error in the error log:

060402 21:24:54 /usr/sbin/mysqld: Shutdown Complete

060402 21:24:54  mysqld ended

Please all help apreciated. i have also tried chowning this file to mysql and chmodding it to 777 and nothing works..

perror 145
145 = Table was marked as crashed and should be repaired.

Run myisamchk on it.

Of course, make sure to pick your MySQL version, the above link is for MySQL v5.

Use myisamchk to recover/repair, restore from backup, or start mysql without privileges and issue REPAIR TABLE.
