I'm trying to transfer using the copy account with acount password option in whm, it fails. Any hints?

I ran
/scripts/cleanmd5 on both servers
/scripts/upcp --force on the receiving server

Still no good. Both servers are Centos 4.3 using STABLE cpanel

Any help on this appreciated. Been struggling to get this done all day and do not know why its not working.

Why dont you create a complete backup and restore it?

Yeah. mv, adduser, mv, chown

Because I have to do this on numerous accounts, Its unrealistic to manually backup / create account / restore on dozens of accounts. I have to do them sporadically upon request and not just all at once so that is why I need this fixed

do you have both root passwords? if yes try using the cpanel root copying option, also make sure that both servers cpanel's versions are compatible.
