Country specific TLD - proxy/anon.?

I know that .us does not allow proxy whois, is there a way I can find out what other country TLDs do/dont? Thanks.

In theory, you could go to the Registrar Accreditation Agreement at
http://www.icann.org/registrars/ra-a...nt-17may01.htm
and read Section 3 (Registrar Obligations), then read the appendix for each tld, with the assumption that if there is no appendix for a tld, the icann rules apply.
http://www.icann.org/registrars/agreements.html
tells you whether you are looking at the latest agreement.

In practice, the .com appendix doesn't seem to mention that they allow another set of contact information. Does anyone know where the difference between .com and, say, .org is specified?

ICANN does not accredit registrars for ccTLD registries. The ccTLD registries are entirely responsible for setting their own rules and accrediting their own registrars (or not, not all ccTLD registries operate under the registry-registrar system). The only way to find out if a ccTLD allows proxy Whois is from the ccTLD registry concerned.
