Does anyone know what will happen if you don't pay the negative balances in your paypal account? Will paypal close it and thats all?

paypal usauly isnt very diligent about that i tried calling before to restore a balance and they just ignore me seems like they arent in a hurry.

They won't do anything, unless it's in the hundreds.

You shouldn't have a negative balance in the account provided you have a credit card and bank account attached to your PP account. They will simply draw from your cc or bank whatever the difference is.

there was once my account balance was negative because of a chargeback, they didn't charge my credit card or bank account automatically.

Then when I paid for something they simply charged me an extra amount to cover the negative balance. No issue at all, they didn't close my account.

If you have a checking account or credit card tied to your Paypal account, chances are they might try to recoup their money.

I just knew you can have a negative balance on paypal ....

In terms of what they'll do, nothing much from past experience (I never keep much in there, so if a reversal comes through it goes negative). The next time however you want to buy something, they'll add the negative balance one, or, the next time someone pays you they'll put that towards reducing the negative balance.

I imagine if you leave it negative for a while they might bother their backsides to do something about it.

I've had small negative balances for a few days with no problems. Obviously you should try to take care of it asap, but unless it's a large amount, there's no need to worry.
