How much space and bandwidth are you planning on starting out with? I don't think the planet will do colocation on a per "u" basis.

well if you are just starting out you may want to start out with a dedicated vs colo. it will give you a chance to get your feet wet and offload some of the responsibility to the datacenter.

We use colo4dallas, and they have never had an outage, like you always see from the planet nowadays. Colo4Dallas is the only provider we trust to secure our company mission with, and so far they have been on point. You should try them out.

If you want a combination of great service, rapid support and quality product then Colo4dallas is your best bet in Texas. We have been very satisfied since the beginning and as someone mention, they don't have outage. You will definitely like them. We have been there for 4-5 years.

EDIT: I mentioned ServerMatrix and my qualms with them but they aren't even accepting new customers at this point, so disregard that.
