Spring has sprung!

It was 60 here in Boston today and it is supposed to be a beauty of a weekend.. Can't wait till it warms up even more. Time to pull the patio furniture and grill out of the basement and cook some BBQ!

The high today was 76. It was just amazing outside. Spring has sprung, indeed, and rather suddenly, too!

Lovely here today. The windows and door to the deck are still open... at 20 minutes to 11PM. Digging it!

I was surprised too how warm it was (New York). I was just out about an hour ago and couldn't believe the temperature. I was expecting it from the weather report since sunday, but you never really get the full effect until it hits.

I am not going to put my hopes up too much yet though. I would love for this temperature to stay, but over the last few years its been so crazy at times its hard to tell.

We've had the mildest winter I've ever seen in Maine but yesterday we finally got some snow. That was nice.

I took some pics - I'm resizing them - and I'll upload 'em to http://www.whathostingshould.be/ignore/ and the directory *should* be set to be browsable and there isn't much to root through. The KAVvsMSN isn't important.

(That's out on the snowmobile trail down on the backside of the mountain.)

Boise, Idaho has been variable. For a while daytime temperatures were up in the 50's Fahrenheit. Today it got up to about 40 with nighttime lows dipping a little below freezing. Some light valley snow flurries with heavier mountain snow. Actually this is good. A Mountain West Club cross country ski event is planned for Saturday March 11 at the Park 'n' Ski past Idaho City. For a while I thought it was going to be a flop, but it looks like we will have some nice, fresh snow.

Sexy isn't it? It's the KGIII Linux... No, really, it's the custom build made just for KGIII from Microsoft... No? Not going to believe that either eh?

Well it's DogmaX with WindowBlinds really. I wanted a tiny notification task bar and that one was the best looking so I grabbed it (the price was pretty decent too IIRC) and haven't looked back since. I have thought about doing a few new skins (I did some a while back but they were all mostly aimed at me and done simple and small - I don't want wasted screen but I want the notification area and such) lately but I really don't have the time these days.

Really nice today in Chicago with a high of about 53F, and 60's this weekend. It's been a while since it's been this warm.

Must be an East/West thing. We had snow here in W.Washington yesterday, which is close to unheard of. Just a few flurries but enough to get everyone's attention.
