You must remember that not all this bandwidth is direct transit! We use alot of peering as well such as AMX-IS.

I dont wanna bash but please get your facts right. Leaseweb has Abovenet transit, IF you had Level3 & Abovenet as primary backbone it would get routed over the Abovenet transit (Cogent's AMS-IX port is 195.69.144.124). Cogent bandwidth isnt something you should be ashamed of...

If you want rock-bottom bandwidth pricing, Cogent is your man.

My point is, you say its dedicated 100mbit unshared bandwidth wich cant be for lets say 2,5dollar/mbit ( if the box costs 139dollar/month)

there are no AMS-IX peers as then the traces would go via AMS-IX and not via transit
