It really depends on your weight. If you're 300 pounds already, 20 doesn't mean much. On the other hand, if you're only 150, 20 is pretty significant.

Lost a lot because I couldn't eat for awhile, but it was a little too unhealthy, so I've gained some back.

Drinking Less? Doesn't sound like any sort of life style to me

I'm 13 stone and just over 6 foot, which makes me healthy-but-nearly-fat. I'd like to loose 1 stone, without:
a) Changing my diet
b) Doing more excerise.
Anyone had anyluck with that

On a slightly more serious note, how long, with just eating less snacks and unneeded food and a bit more excerise (12 miles a day on a bike for most week days) would it take to loose a stone? (just a rough time frame).

It's called eating and working out right. I'm a pretty huge package. So for me, it's not much just like SniperDevil said. I play semi-pro football so during the off-season, I just about eat anything and everything in site. My season is getting ready to start in a couple of weeks so I train hard and prepare myself for what is coming.

Plenty of water (I dont drink soda) and taking in the right amount of nutrients is always safe. Being a part of this organization, I am being supervised by a personal trainer and nutritionist so I feel very safe in the program.

Yeah, it's all relative. Point taken.
