Windows and vnc sessions

Hello I am maybe missing something obvious, but how can I have multiple instances of VNC server on windows. On linux I can start few vnc servers and then each one of them shows desktop that is independent from all others. That way more people can connect to same box and run their own apps. How do I accomplish this in windows ?

You mean using terminal services? Just make seperate user accounts for each user, if they connect using terminal services using that login information, they get their own private desktop that will only show applications they are running.

I am not sure if I mean terminal services. From this page:

How do I connect more than one user to Windows XP Professional?

....If you are using Windows XP Professional this number is limited to 1 remote connection and there is no way to increase this number.
I am not windows user for a long time now but does not seem some things changed a lot since windows 95 days.

Perhaps this will help, it's for remote desktop: http://sala.pri.ee/terminal-server-patch/

I used it at work a lot to connect to others machines without interupting them.

Pat H, nice link.

I have no idea why microsoft removed the 2 sessions functionality. It would make the job alot easier if IT Staff could remotely access another terminal session and leave the user doing there thing.

Because its XP Pro.
You have to get Server 2003 for multiple connections. XP pro isnt supposed to be used as a server operating system so it is limited as such.
