Raising eCPM (AdSense) ?

Hello,

I am curious on to learn multiple ways to increase an eCPM on AdSense. Monthly, their is about 2-3million ad impressions with a low eCPM of $0.09 so it comes out to be a very very low payout (Do the math )

Does this go by keyword weight / keyword quality(popularity) ?

Please explain!

Thank you in advance,

Josh.

How google works it is each click is based on a number of things:

1) How many pages the user goes through (if they just click on the link then exit, or if they actually browse through the site).
2) The geographic location of the user who clicked it.
3) If the user has clicked on your ads before.

your eCPM stands for estimated cost per thousand. It basically means for 1000 page impressions you are getting around 9 cents on the average. You can't really raise this rate directly. It gets raised through your CTR indirectly.

Google Adsense is all about clicks and the value of the clicks. The way I would recommend trying to raise this eCPM value is by optimizing the placement of your google ads, experiment with different color schemes, etc. The more clicks you get on the ads, the more you make and the higher the eCPM will be.

Best of Luck.
