Best windows control panel & market situation.

Hi, I am working on a windows control panel software for 2003. I was wondering how is the market situation for a new and cheap control panel software.

Currently there are many good win control panels in the market, how are they ? It seems that either plesk, hsphere or helm is most popular. Hosting controller has been an old player but I heard that it was not very reliable. What are your experainces with windows control panels ?

Now another important issue is the web hosting market. I hear rumors that the market for reseller and small hosters, including designers is diminshing due to big players ? Is that true ? If that is true, then I wonder if there is a real market for any independent control panel anymore ?

What are the main features that you want in a good control panel? Suggestions ?

In Windows I have used both Helm and Plesk. I found Helm difficult and more complicated (for admin and user). I now use Plesk and I can assure you that it is one of the safest and most stable panels.

We had tried to switch to Plesk once before, but 9/10 customers didnt want its complicated face, so we stay with Helm

Just take a look at DotNetPanel, it's very clean. Seems a good control panel. WinHosting, how long have you been using it? How about its stability? How about its features compared to Helm?

thanks

We're using Helm too, and like it. Would love them to finally release the new version. Will take a look at dotnetpanel.
