95th percentile MRTG

I am thinking about making the move to co-located from dedicated. Does anyone have any instructions that I can follow to setup MRTG on a server to log 95th percentile usage so I can estimate what I am going to need?

Thanks!

95 is easy on mrtg, i believe there are even pre-compiled versions around the web for different OS's, or you can try cacti (cacti.net) which has 95 percentile built in, or RTG (rtg.sourceforge.net) which also has 95%ile built in... you have a lot of options

personally i like RTG and Cacti better than just mrtg as they create the graphs on the fly (use less CPU) and in my opinion store the data better.

my $.02

Yes cacti.net makes it very easy, it's all php based so there's little server-side modification to be done
