Firewall setup

hi guys,

i have a sonicwall firewall that i want to use. What is the easiest way to go about setting up the firewall to protect multiple ips? Do i really have to assign an internal ip for each public ip?

I am just lost when it comes to firewalls with a bunch of ips and some of the them are on different subnets too.

any help would be appreciated.

thanks
