They are pricey compared to other hosts, so I'd only consider hosting with them if their service and support was unbeatable. Has anybody had any experience with Hostway.co.uk?

I am interested in a shared linux hosting package with them.

I have no personal experiance with this company although to find out if their support is "unbeatable" contact their sales department, ask some complicated questions to give yourself an idea of what they are like. Also to find out how good their service is I would search both via WHT and Google for reviews of them.

Not always a reliable method of testing, especially as bigger hosts (like the one you're investigating) have completely separated sales and support departments. As such, they can have completely different training and different performances (both in responsiveness and answer quality).

Well hostway does offer great support, and service and they do have alot of reviews, not always good ones, but I think the good outweight the bad. They are a very good provider in every aspect I believe.

Well, I always call support rather than sales. Companies like to have sufficient staff in sales and understaff support.

I have tested Hostway UK three times today, including just now at 2:30am and same time yesterday and each time the phone was picked up within one minute. They have been amazing thusfar in my research.

Just trying to compare them to UnitedHosting who have been equally good yet are considerably cheaper.
