how should i phrase this..

I run a small computer shop and i need some help phrasing our billing scheme for our managed clients.

basically we charge 100$hr and bill per 15mins so 25$ every 15mins.

so if the job is 45 mins it should be around 60 dollars.

what would be the proper way of putting that on our website *soon making*

Maybe try something like this:

"Here at "CompanyName" we charge-out our engineer time in quarterly blocks of 1 hour. Each 15 minutes of on-site time will be charged out to you at $25."

Where did you get $60 for 45 minutes? I make it $75. Anyway...
I'd be tempted to just put:

"We charge $100 an hour billed in 15 minute increments.
Example: 45 minutes work will cost $75."

That's exactly what we use.

It really irks me when people put the dollar sign after the numbers. Its $100 - not 100$.

How about:

Quote:
We charge $100/hr., prorated in 15 minute increments
You can always add a one hour minimum charge to that statement, if you're so inclined.

Edit: Ah, almost exactly what ACW said, but I like "prorated"

Depends where you're from...many countries put the sign after. I personally don't, just saying

Question? Why does it matter?

Also, you could use a more formal approach to making a statement to the point yet direct. Not trying to offend the viewers/buyers.
