Reset Shopping Cart in WHM

One of my clients shopping cart stops working. It loads fine and than it doesnt. I know this might be a bigger issue than just reseting the shopping cart. I want to know before I reset it, is if it starts off brand new or will it retain all the old data and just reprint the scripts?

Any info will help. Thanx.

If you want to completely remove it and start over with a fresh install, delete /catalogs and cart.cgi and run the installation again from CPanel.

You need root to do this, some of the files in /catalogs are owned by user 'nobody'. (That's assuming SUexec is off)

Try http://www.hotscripts.com/Detailed/8707.html or http://www.verysimple.com/scripts/webtoolz.html
Google search "delete files by nobody", you will find a lots of answers.
The easiest way is to ask admin to do this, but you should do it yourself as a reseller, right?

I was just wondering, because I didnt want to reset a cart that was configured and modified. I contacted admin and the problem is fixed without having to reset and lose any configs that could have been made.

Thanks for your replies!
