We have switched more than 600 accounts from cPanel to DA. It's just running smoothly and dont take too much times
where do you get cPanel - DA convert tool? I have contacted Phil several times, and he always responses

Thank you for answer. FTP accounts actually were copied however they were not visible on DA. I don't know why. One of my client has 30 ftp accounts on cpanel and I couldn't automatically move it into DA.
I got cpanel to DA tool from this link:
http://www.l0rdphi1.com/tools/da.cpanel.import.tar.gz
I wrote to author and wrote it in DA forum (my name=pug123). Look:

No one helped me so I gave up. However I haven't bought cpanel yet..
Considering your posts about cPanel I would stick with DA however if it was possible to move my accounts.
On cpanel old server I've got only reseller acount. I managed to add backup feature to cpanel and do backup from it and it seems to be acceptable for cpanel-DA conversion tool.
1) email accounts added properly
2) ftp accounts no added at all to panel (works on system) I don't know where they are
3) mysql user/database - not work properly but you explained this. Anyway I would have to dig my clients scripts and change usrer/database ...not good

4)Password protected directories not work at all
5) Cron scripts not moved
6) Different statistics system (webalizer instead of awstats) which means problems from clients, becouse of lost hits
