Hi Guys,

I need to delete a file from my server. /var/spool/mail/httpd.

Unfortunately I can't Telnet to the server as the telnet files are corrupted! Is there any way to write a script, upload it via FTP as admin,set the permissions and run the script to delete the file above?

I really hope I can get some help here!

The preferred alternative to telnet is SSH. If that's already installed, use it. You have to go in as admin first, then "su - root" to become root. SSH is preferable to telnet anyway, as it's encrypted. If SSH isn't already on the server, you can install it via PKG from www.solarspeed.net. Then use an SSH app like putty to connect.
