A hamster with an attitude
Hello,
Please have a look at this new directory. It is in Beta - which means that all your comments will be gratefully received!!!
http://www.gimpsy.com
In particular, do let me know ...
Is the main distinction of this directory from the (very many) other directories out there clear?
How long did it take you to fully understand it?
What do you think of it?
Many thanks for ... whatever you contribute and the time you took to do it!

I had no idea what it was about until I read the about page............for me the distinction was not clear......
It looks good as a directory site.......I think it is ok........

Cool
Maybe a little more page content.
Define your distinction a little better.

I got the intended distinction right away, but doing ANYTHING is doing something. I suspect there are categories in your directory that list things that aren't especially suited for especially active people. I like the idea though, and I didn't see anything that I'd change.
I couldn't find any results for underwater splunking, but now that I think of it, I think I spelled it incorrectly. I don't do it anyway. Too dangerous.

I agree with others, I can't really tell what I'm supposed to do. Maybe adding a short paragraph in the beginning would help.
Also, I find the A, B, C things distracting. Either lose the red letter, or have a seperate letter (a plain A) and then the text. IE
