Need a host asap

ok i need a host asap.

1) 40 GB of space
2) 500-1000 GB of bandwidth with the option of upgrading and getting more bandwidth
3) budget = less than $150 a month
4) cpanel would be a plus

The site is a clone of forpals.com but called mygamerspace.com

i created a post earlier for suggestions of what to do, now I'm searching for a host.

before the my account was suspended for abnormally high CPU load I was gaining an average of 100 members day, so please take this into account when suggesting a host. btw the sites only 2 weeks old.

Thank you

~Paul

How much space are you using now ? as it sounds like you need yourself a server there !

I suggest you search for either a VPS or Dedicated solution to be on the safe side.

I really don't see how you could do this on anything but a dedicated server....

i chose netfirms.com because they say they have a system better then dedicated. see here:

netfirms.com/technology

please give me your opinion because I have a 30 money back guarantee

I would also appreciate it if someone would post a recommended host for me.

Thank you,

~Paul

mygamerspace.com,

If you don't stick around with netfirms I'd highly recommend seeking a semi-dedicated or managed dedicated solution: Shared won't be sufficient for long.

i just got an email from my old host

"I'll give you a partial server for mygamerspace.com (basically it will be a reseller account but on a virutally no-load server) and you can host it there so long as it doesn't crash it... should be just fine."

I asked him want are the specs and he responded with

"We would put you on a Dual AMD Opteron 246 server in the interim with 2GB ram."

all of the above for 100.00/month...it this a good deal?
I dont know enough about servers so will you all let me know if you think this would sufficient?

Thanks in advance!

mygamerspace.com,

That should be more than sufficient for the timebeing.
Just be aware he knows ahead of time what he's getting himself into -- i.e. that the growth is only going to speed up.

It depends on how many users online at the same time.
PHP is the main cause of Resource overload; and Vbulletin consumes higher Cpu usage than any other forums.
If your community is growing fast, you should plan for a dedicated server.
