Ok, I tryed ice cube I think it is called and it sucked, the index file of my forums took longer and some quicker to load....

So I want to try Zend Optimizer I guess but I cannot find a php 4.4.1 version for fc3

I searched

zend optimizer rpm for fc3

I got many hits but all for php 4.3

does any one know how to force yum to upgrade my PHP to a newer virsion or can I get 4.3 or is there a better way to get a php cacher?

That should get you going.

just tar xvfz the file and then cd to the direct and ./install

I havent compiled somthing, how hard is it?

You don't need to compile it, just cd to the directory created when you extract and execute ./install.
