Host scans my PC ports


One IP adress scans my computer port.
Firewall reports show that It's from hosting of my website
I do not know whether My PC ports scanned since I am transmit so much traffic
to the host or because hosting policy about visitors?I do not know it's
end?Any comment about this?

Make sure you have no ports open on your connection, enable the firewall and disable remote access to the admin panel of your router/modem.

Even if someone does a port scan, if they don't find anything open they'll hopefully move onto an easier target.

but my problem is that why scaning done from my website hosting.(I resolve the IP adress and find that it's from my hosting).they should not scans my port.

Are you logged into FTP? It could very well simply be passive FTP doing it's work.

Yeah, that is a good idea, try logging in elsewhere with another computer with the same firewall if you can and see if you get the same alert.

I do not use FTP.I only enter my data webbased.Sometimes it scans me 30 times a day and with 2 minutes intervals

Well, that is the datacenter, unless you have a dedicated server it would be something you could investigate yourself but if you host with a company, what is it?

A dedicated server provider scanning you is entirely different: Contact the planet for more details (ensure to include the logs!).
