I'm offering for sale my, now dormant, community fex.boards. Although it's been dead for a long while, during it's development phase interest was greatly sparked again, there's is a truly loyal member base of 50+ members.

fex.boards is a design/development community. Similar to theroot42.org, somethingleet.com, shadowness.com and so on.

What's for sale is the following:

• The fexboards.com domain name
• The fexboards forum database, currently at 2.3.9
• A database with over 60,000 posts - 1,300+ members - 3,000+ threads
• Custom smilie set
• My expertise on how to guide the community until you get comfortable with growing it yourself.
• Development blog (content and design)

This is the only place I'm offering fex.boards for sale. I'm looking for serious offers, it has the potential to grow at an enormous rate, all it needs is some TLC development.

How long ago did the board start? Could you provide a 'timeline of events'?

And how far has development got? From the blog it all sounds good (articles, studio, etc) - but are you providing any of that?

And where are the members from? Are they ex-anotherboard?

Hi chimaera.

The board was started in 2002 and closed in 2004. From then members have been wanting it back ever since. There's still a large loyal fan base.

The development (code) is not with this sale as it's been used on another project. The database will work with vBulletin, however it is possible to migrate to other software using importers and such.

The members of the board are people who've found the board, they're not from any other board as fexboards was started from birth and not taken over as a replacement.

The board is in an active state yes, not currently available to members. It is on view to potential buyers only.
