Http error and monitoring services

I had signed up not too long ago with a site monitoring service hoping to create proof of our uptime records. I submitted 3 of our sites all on the same server to be monitored --- but for some strange reason --- they are all producing different uptime percentages because of some "HTTP error" it picks up and reports as "downtime" at random times about 1 per every other month per site.

The exact error that is reported to me is:
Quote:
Http error:Http_client.No_reply
But I can't seem to find what actually causes this. Any ideas or is this out of my control? Will also consider suggestions on using another server monitoring service. Maybe a poll is in order as Nadabrahma suggested here.

sometimes Host-tracker makes us this. Others ok but it gives error when it is available.

Host-tracker is notorious for its inaccuracies. Uppanel also has false reports of outages, but not so bad.

Hi there.

We personally use Internet Seer. They are pretty reliable and have never had issues but not all hosting providors will acknowledge that the results are true (one example being HostGator) as they don't always class your site not being available as being down time (i.e. if the servers not down then they don't class it as downtime).

Internet Seer is free for a single domain but you can always use different email addresses! ;-)
