What the heck...DedicateNow. [merged]
Dedicatednow just fell off of the face of the earth.
My server just went dead, and dedicatednow.com is gone as well. No ping, nothing.

A timeout occurred getting the NS records from your nameservers! None of your nameservers responded fast enough. They are probably down or unreachable. I can't continue since your nameservers aren't responding. If you have a Watchguard Firebox, it's due to a bug in their DNS Proxy, which must be disabled.

My server appears to be down. So does the dedicatednow and Fortress ITX website. I remember they said something about network maintenance, but I thought it was schedule for Sunday.

Wow, I'm sure glad I wasn't in the middle of moving 1.5k accounts.
dreaz, I thought that was a glitch in my internet when that happened earlier. Guess not.

Dear customers, please see
https://forums.dedicatednow.com/show...3425#post23425
One of our agg switchs needed an emergency reboot as the load was very very high and the system as unusable, the total downtime was less than 10minutes.
BGP routes are converging out to the internet so some people might take another min or two for their full access to be restored.
Thank you.

So if the load goes to 90% again, another power cycle again? I hope that is not the way to solve it.

Seems to only be a certain portion of the network. My box on the 65.98.56.xx subnet is running fine. Another on the 65.98.35.xx subnet is dead though.
