change main ip address of cpanel box?
hi,
i have a cpanel box, with 2 ip's, but only the 2nd one is used. the first one seems to be the main ip, i.e. all emails come from the first ip address's hostname, but i want them to come from the 2nd.
how do i make the 2nd ip, the primary main ip?
Thanks!
Dan

and the answer, courtessy of the excellent support guys at cpanel is:
You will need to make that ip
eth0 on your system, which on most redhat systems is done by editting
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0, then you will need to edit
/etc/wwwacct.conf and make sure ethdev is set to eth0 (or blank).
And a certain amount of fiddling with /etc/hosts and /etc/resolv.conf

Dan
