Exclamation Someone try to send mails witn my e-mail address! Can I get blacklisted?

The last two days, someone have tried to send out e-mail from my e-mail account. Or they use my e-mail address in the from header:

What can I do when somebody used my e-mail address to send out spam? And can my domain / IP be banned/put on SPAM lists?

As you see, I have not a open SMTP server, so they can not send mails thru my SMTP server, only use my e-mail address.

I have removed this e-mail address now, since this was my private e-mail, not used to other then private e-mails. But still, can this create problems for me??

    Here is the header:

    myhken,

If you haven't already I would strongly suggest adding an SPF record to your domain's dns (it goes in as a txt record). A quick generation tool for spf records can be found at http://www.openspf.org/

Just a suggestion more and more email services now also check spf records when receiving emails (helps to cut down on spoofed/spam emails).

I have SPF record on my domain. So that's not a problem.
