Virtuoso Net Solutions - HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!

    Virtuoso Net Solutions

After signing up for their reseller account I got my account details email, which included everything EXCEPT the WHM url and details, so no problem - I go to live chat with them and this is what happens:

Virtuoso Net Solutions: Hello welcome how may I help you?
James Kelley: I recieved my account info, but it didn't include the URL to my WHM?
Virtuoso Net Solutions: and your customer number?
    James Kelley: 972
Virtuoso Net Solutions: "SITE LOGIN VIA IP: ADMIN"
Virtuoso Net Solutions: "SITE ADMINISTRATOR http:// ADMIN (WHM)"
Virtuoso Net Solutions: The lines are there
Virtuoso Net Solutions: Under "Account Details:"
James Kelley: No, that is for CPANEL
Virtuoso Net Solutions: No, that is for WHM
    Virtuoso Net Solutions: "ADMIN"
    Virtuoso Net Solutions: "WHM"
James Kelley: There is nothing about WHM in the emails you sent me.
    James Kelley: Control Panel LogiN:
You must login using IP ADDRESS before your DNS fully propagates
    LOGIN VIA IP https://147.202.68.253:2083
    ADMINISTRATOR URL http://dealmonster.us/cpanel

Virtuoso Net Solutions: Yes it is ther because it is a standard outgoing template and I am staring at it right now
Virtuoso Net Solutions: SITE LOGIN VIA IP: ADMIN https://147.202.68.253:2087
James Kelley: Are you calling me a LIAR?
Virtuoso Net Solutions: SITE ADMINISTRATOR http:// ADMIN (WHM) http://dealmonster.us/whm
Virtuoso Net Solutions: I think your tone is not necessary and naive.
Virtuoso Net Solutions: I told you it is a standard template and it is there
Virtuoso Net Solutions: So I'm telling you to look a little more careful
James Kelley: Im staring at the email RIGHT NOW
Virtuoso Net Solutions: So am I
    Virtuoso Net Solutions: Your copy.
    James Kelley: Account Details:
    DOMAIN dealmonster.us
    SITE URL http://www.dealmonster.us
    IP ADDRESS 147.202.68.253
    Control Panel LogiN:

James Kelley: thats all it say
    James Kelley: under account details
Virtuoso Net Solutions: Perhaps your calling me a liar then?
    James Kelley: I sure am.
Virtuoso Net Solutions: Good I'm glad.
Virtuoso Net Solutions: Go find another hosting provider
I obviously became Irritated after this person indirectly called me a liar like I didn't know how to read my own Email. As you can see in my attachment the Email DID NOT include the WHM info.

Mysteriously ... 10 minutes after this chat conversation I can no longer load their web sites home page. I sent an email explaining what had happened and that I needed to know if I should cancel my account, this is their reply:

You were rude to the sales rep by calling him a liar. Good luck with the next person who
becomes a victim of your low class attitude.

    Truly Yours,
    Virtuoso Sales
I sent another email requesting a refund, doubtful I ever get it from these scumbags.

Jesus, what a rude host. You would think he would of just said, sorry to hear you didn't get that information. I'll send you a follow up email with that information about your account. I mean jeez...don't worry about them, they don't deserve to have you as a client.

While a chargeback is to be a last resort if it was a cc payment it'd be advisable if they do not reply to do so.

The site didn't look too bad, but I guess you can't judge a book by its cover!

It won't let me put the URL in here.. keeps replacing it with asterix's

How much space and bandwidth are you requiring for your new website? You could use the host quote feature and look in the Shared/Reseller Hosting Offer forum. Good luck, hope the next host is more professional for you. Interesting...there domain is blocked from here. Not a good sign. Usually means they advertised there services and broke forum rules.

Considering they are banned from here, usually not a good thing (means they probably been spamming and such here in the past).

Did it ever occur to the host, that maybe their script is not working properly and sending the wrong template to the client. They are not liars, they are idiots. Why would anybody ever treat a customer like that unless either there scammers who just want your money, or have enough customers and don't give a crap.

At any rate, at least you found out early what type of company they are. Now you can move on and find a professional host who really wants your business.

As soon as I saw the thread title, I knew what the story would be. I was not disappointed:

This company has established its reputation, as one of abusing its customers, which is indeed strange -- but true!

Why do that to the customer. In the world of tech support I have learned that you have to deal with customers with kid gloves. Maybe offer to re-send the e-mail or whatever. Never do anything like this.

Unfortunately, I too, had an encouter with Chad from VNS.

I was spoken to, like a child while fixing an email issue. After saying "no need to get rude" he abruptly suspended my account then firewalled me from the entire site.

I have researched Chad a bit and have found numerous customers having the same disgusting technical support given to them as i had recieved.

There's a complete transcript and other various links on my site - woodsy.org/news.php?item.3.1

Hopefully it will 'educate the buyer' a little more and stop any potential customers from making a mistake as I had done.

I have better things to do than post all around a hosting forum to validate my credibility..

The general public has every right to be informed of Chad Abezeid, and i certainly like to inform them. I have never been treated by anyone with such disrespect, let alone someone using priveleged information (my CC number) with a new host to try and scare me and retrieve my new hosting details. It's actually a criminal act, and as such, the bank's credit fraud department has been alerted, along with his ISP for several abusive acts of the service.

I'll do anything within my power to see this degenerate is exposed.

Well, it sure seems like a lot of people have had really scary experiences with this company. I thought it was a campaign from competitors signing up forum accounts to slag him, but seems this is genuine horror stories.

Exactly what I had worked out a few lines into that conversation, and with a little less arrogance, the chat operator might have worked out instead of losing a customer.

The attitude has not changed at all, very similar thing happened to me from the same company just recently. The experience was to say the least disgusting, and for the first time in my life i have decided to dedicate time into letting other know, so that they do have to endure the same.

Stay away for your own good, there are many good providers out there, and this one is not one of them.

I know this is an old post, but I'll dig it up to show just how serious of a problem this Chad guy is.

Woodsy signed up with us shortly after his whole debacle with the company. However, shortly after ordering, he emailed us asking to have his welcome email resent. Not a problem, they sometimes get flagged as spam. I asked for the last 4 digits of the credit card to confirm and sent out another email. Small problem: It wasn't him that requested the welcome email, it was Chad posing as him! He had used his credit card data to falsify the welcome email request. Luckily, we changed the password on the account and locked him about before he did anything. After that, he claimed libel against Woodsy's blog post and threatened to send lawyer dogs after us. Nothing ever came of it, though.

Seriously, this guy is scary as crap. If he has your credit card information, watch out!

Wow, that is quite a story there.. The fact that he used client's card details to commit identity fraud is something extraordinary..

The fact that he thought well hard about harming the client and carried out such a disgusting act, all carefully planned... This company should be brought down.

And as a christian, I'm offended that he uses "Based on Christian Principles!" as a marketing phrase. There's no words to describe the disgust I sense.

    There's no words to...
From the looks of it, two words come to my mind right away... Trojan Horse. Chad is over trying to appeal to us of good faith using these tactics to lure in customers and then from what's transpired he's over stabbing everyone's backs (about the only applicable phrase that comes to mind).

Hopefully word of all these issues spreads enough and continues to do so to the point of putting companies like this one out of business. One of my former clients was more or less scammed by this Chad fellow as well. I definitely for one wouldn't be trusting this guy with any personal identifiable information of mine (especially in light of what timdorr just posted regarding this guy).

As an update to a very old thread:

I run a small political blog in Philly, and these guys are bizarrely bad. (They are now called LogicWeb.)

Our site crashed, they blamed us, and then said we were too rude, so, refused to even let us access the data so that we could just move to a different company. From what I have seen, their customer service is bizarrely bad. And when you call, after some tech guy has a meltdown as described above, you simply get routed to voicemails.

I can't post URL's because I am too new, to link to our slightly largr story, but, if interested, you can google philly and logicweb, it will show up number one.
