Bob's ego is much larger then the number of names they register. He is just trying to put a word twist on something champ said over a year ago.

It seems that Godaddy have picked various sound bites from various interviews given by Champ Mitchell over the years, and have quoted them on their web site, completely out of context. Not exactly what I would call professional behaviour.

I am not a regular Godaddy customer, but currently have one domain with them that I bought from someone else and that they wouldn't let me transfer for 90 days. I half considered leaving it with them, I won't now.

If it is a war godaddy may win. Who these days pays over $30 for a domain. Enom's 29.95 is a bit high as well...I mean in comparison to the $8 - $10 range that has taken over. To remain competitive the more expensive ones should go down to the $15 - $20 range. I am not a godaddy user, always thought they seemed a bit 'cheesy', but I won't cross them off my list for now.

If it takes a battle for NETSOL to lower their rates...let the fights begin

I think it's the Japanese who said it best: business is war.

Let them say whatever they want. I don't care.

I love it when I see that. Nobody I knows pays $29.95 for eNom domains. That is the beauty of it though. eNom Resellers don't compete with their upline. EAT THAT WWD!

We have thousands of users that pay >$30 per year for domain registrations yet. Many users do not like going through changes... So it's not broke then do not fix it.

If Enom just offered support on nights / weekends / holidays they would really become a valid solution for many large companies that just like to know that the support is there.

Yes, this is why netsol will take a long time to shrink. many people will not wish to move away since it is not worth the trouble

It actualy happens a lot. Very often, it's strategically necessary. But I'm talking about really big corporations, and not GoDaddy.

Correct me If I am wrong , Godaddy and wildwestdomains are the same corporations. And they have more than 10million registered domains with millions of web hosting customers which makes them a really big corporations?

I may be wrong, but GoDaddy is the largest.

Ever since NetSol was only the registrar (Verisign took the registry) the company size has been a fraction of what it used to be.
