One of our clients need a full featured program that lets them send out their e-mail newsletter.

Specifically the features they need are;

-ability to send html e-mails
-a solution that uses our server not the programs
-one click unsbscribe
-delivery reports (Track emails sent, emails received, open rates, and the performance of each link in your newsletter)
-Subscriber List Management. Subscribe requests, unsubscribe requests, and bounces handled automatically
- can run on linux boxes (maybe using perl or php and mysql)

I really like the features of topica but not the fact that it is based on their servers. Worldmerge looks nice but light on features.

you guys know any thing under $1000?

Opps , I forgot to add that it needs to personalize the email .

hmm.. i dont know of any off hand... you could take a look at http://www.hotscripts.com You should find something you like, else you could always get one custom coded...
