One SSL and Many domains ?

I have one SSL certificate from godaddy.com
and I have 3 Domains , godaddy doenst let me use that SSL Cert for more than 1 domain .

I want to know is there any hosting that let you use the one SSL Certificate for many domain names ?

infact I want to buy a dedicated server and then sell PRE-MADE sites to ppl and I want all my pre-made sites which will be hosted on my own dedicated server, use the same SSL (and dont be have to buy a new one for each domain name)

is it technically possible that I buy ONE SSL certificate and use it for all domain names on my hosting ?

I don't think you can get this, because each SSL cert is only for one domain unless you get the wild card type.

It would entirely depend on how these sites would be setup. If you set them up as subdomains of your domain it wildcard ssl certficates would work.

Just to clarify this would secure any subdomain --> *.domain.com
= sales.domain.com, anysite.domain.com, site.domain.com all secured

An example of this in practice is at AH-Tina's company, http://axishost.com
If you look at the certificate it says http://*.axishost.com
So https://axishost.com is secured and https://support.axishost.com is secured.

imagine my main domain name is ht t p:/ /main d o m ain . com

ppl come and buy domain name and hosting from me , they will be hosted by myself [by virtula dedicated server of godaddy]

and now imagine ppl would buy this domina ppl1.com
and I set up ht t p :/ / ppl1.maindomain.com ..

can that ppl1 , access to his site by entering ht tp S ://ppl1.com ?
or he would have to enter htt p "s" : / / ppl1.maindomain.com

?

by the way what is wild card ?

to secure 3 domains you have to buy 3 ssl certs. (and also 3 ip)
to secure 3 subdomains you buy wildcard ssl cert.

A wildcard certificate would only secure the subdomain http://ppl1.maindomain.com

Wildcard certificates don't work with multiple domain names.

If you buy a wildcared SSL for the main domain, you can use this for your other accounts via https://hostname/~account/ or https://IP/~account/ .
