Hey WHT,
Looking for input from past and current customers of BlackLotus ( www.blacklotus.com )...How do you like the service provided...? Can you talk about any ups and/or downs...?
How are customer service response times?
Thanks...
P.S. - I've been here for a little while... I've used the search feature...just looking for some more info...

BlackLotus is awesome. The staff is amazingly fast and know exactly what they're doing. Often, I would submit a ticket and receive a response in under 5 minutes. The network has no downtime and is extremely fast, not to mention affordable.
I'd highly recommend them. They're really an exceptional provider.

Hi,
Jeff runs a top-notch shop. You will be happy if you decide to do business with them. Good luck!

I ordered a server with Black Lotus just this month and their customer service has been exceptional - far and beyond the quality of support at ThePlanet, my former host. John @ BLCC has gone to GREAT lengths to help me set up the server and solve a heap of DNS problems. Their prices are also very competitive, in fact i'm paying less for a server twice as powerful as what i had at TP. 10/10 from me

How much are you paying monthly for your server?

I'm not sure if i'm allowed to disclose prices on this forum, but i got the standard management dual Xeon 2.8ghz special they ran earlier this month - the thread was in the dedi/colo forum.

It does not bother me if clients discuss pricing, so long as the offer was not made privately.
Thanks for your patronage

All looks promising.. Looks like you're doing good business Jeff... looking forward to seeing what any of your upcoming specials look like.
<edit>I see today's special... I like...</edit>
Any more comments...? They all seem pretty positive thus far and a search through wht brings up a lot of good stuff...

You have my vote for the network of choice next month. Were expanding more, and hope to get a Good LA location.

The 3000GB for $150/month seems like an attractive deal. Is this on a 100Mbps port? I'm interested in pushing about 2500-3000GB/month for static image content, where most use is during peak hours (up to 20-30mpbs).
Would this be something that BL can make a good offer for?

That 3000GB is based on 95th %, not actual usage. With that said, Jeff offered a very competitive offer for a 3000GB actual usage server. Plus, their network is great.

For $150/month, I can get an unmetered server doing 3000GB by 95% measurement too. It's not that attractive for me then.
