Are input masks functional within an access form?

Hi,

A quick question regarding MS access.
I have created an Input Mask within a table to restrict a date of birth to specific values, the code used is 00/00/0000, this allows (__/__/____). However, although it works within the Access datasheet, when I create a form and bind text boxes to the fields within the table. The input mask is not retained. Are input masks retained within a form? How can I ensure the input masks are retained?

Many thanks,

Jord

Scratch that. I've just worked it out. The input mask is a property of the text box not the attribute. I just have to re-input the input mask in the new field.
