I'm generally not a fan of the current "bring the old tv show from the 70s/80s to the big screen" trend...but this one actually looks like it might be good. Michael Madson is the same guy who made the movie Collateral (sp?), with Tom Cruise (hate him) and Jamie Foxx, which was actually pretty good. Watching the trailer for Miami Vice, it seems to have the same look and feel of the other movie. The Miami Vice movie doesn't seem like its going to be cheezy at all. I'm looking forward to it.

When I was recently in Florida, they had I95 shut down for some filming. Will be interested to see it.

That trailer does look pretty edgy too. I might get it out on DVD when it comes.
