How's This Done?

I would like to implement a similar search feature on one of my sites as this site http://www.minichoppers.com/index.ph...+Chopper+Plans

While I'm comfortable writing the code I've know idea where he's sourcing the results from, what the API is or anything. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Regards

Lux

PS: I looked at searchfeed but there results are minimal and it's not the same thing.

Thanks for that fyrestrtr

Yeah I know they're overture but i'm not sure how he's retrieving them as I can't see any way to become an overture publisher or an API. I'm wondering whether he's using a third party and if so whom.

Try this:

http://www.content.overture.com/d/
Then click Search the web.
Make a program that just loads that page, and split it up.
You will be able to do this very easily in Perl. It's probabally a bit more difficult in php.

Thanks thomas7

Yes I saw that too but simply loading the results won't result in any revenue for me

Oh i see.
Sorry, i thought you just wanted links. Are you sure that other guy makes money from it? He may be doing to increase his google ranking.
You can also try GoogleAds- they will make you a little bit of money.
