depends on the country and how it looks like in the language

for example many companies in kuwait use domainKW or domainQ8 instead of domainKuwait because KWdomain looks kinda silly in arabic translation.

As far as my memory serves, some phpbb communities seem to have the practice of using phpbb-xx.com convention.... (i may be wrong), no??
I think I saw phpbb-hk.com, phpbb-tw.com..... etc...
