    Google adwords 2.75 click?

    Hi,

    I'm struggling with adwords.
I just started a new campaign under my account, and whatever keywords i put in i get tells me i need to bid at least 2.75?
Whatever the keywords- even random letters.

asdfasfasfdssdf (to be added) Minimum bid: 2.75 - 0.25
    Inactive for search

(25p is my max bid on this one at the moment).

Has this happened to anyone else?

that's very strange. i am aware that keywords for web hosting is quite high - 2.75 pounds per clicks sounds pretty reasonable - but that amount for random letters...you should contact google for that.

I've had a similiar experience also... very strange things happen with AdWords it seems. Speaking of AdWords, I wonder when they'll charge my credit card, it's been almost 2 weeks...

    Maybe they forgot

Believe me they dont forget. Once a month they will charge you.
I have always found that adwords tools they provide will not always direct you in the right direction. Overture is very straight-forward, however adwords requires a lot of skill to be successful. I would seriously recommend testing the sytem to get a feel for how it works, and then make your changes from there. After you run your campaign for a while you will have a better understanding of exactly how much certain keywords are worth to you.

I wish they would tell me when they are going to bill me, or allow me to "pay now"...
