It is a town.
Wow, that fire is pretty bizarre.
Lots and lots of smoke.
I just saw it on the news last night.

Accidents happen, and this one just happens to be one of the bad ones. If the USA got any of its oil from Britain, we'd definitely be in for some sky high gas prices.

Lol i doubt the media will be beating a path to your door for those, if you had not told me i would not have said they were from the fire the first one is the only one with a little cloud of smoke in it  ..

Doot, metronome is referring to the massive fire in Southern England. The initial blast was heard more than 100 miles away, and there have been reports of it been heard in France and Holland. Supposedly the largest incident of it's kind in peace-time Europe.

er.. you realise that is not a cloud in the sky in the other pics what you see is the smoke?

I was thinking the same thing... but had a good chuckle on the disclaimer over low-res photos.

I actually have much higher res pics weighing in at 1mb each, I resized them to make them small enough to chuck around the email systems of people I know. As for the media ok they might not be running for them, but I haven't seen any pics at ground level that show the coverage of the smoke. (not that I have bothered looking)

somone said it was heard in hong kong today....
somone said that to me at uni... now i really think it has gone OTT and peoples imaginations are going into over drive dowt it went that far a field some how.
I woke up at 7am the day it happened and i didnt feel bugger all through the night and I live about 32 miles away from it.
normally somone dropping a pen in the house can wake me up.
