    GoDaddy DNS...

    Hey all!

On my domain, I want a certain subdomain to direct to a totally different IP address.

I thought I could do it, but I tried like a week ago and it still doesnt work.

    Maybe I'm doing it wrong???

What do you mean? You have an addon domain that you want to be given a dedicated IP address?

Have you consulted the godaddy help system? Given them a call?

It can be done.. it's all there in the domain management panel

Alternatively, delegate the domain to your host and setup the A record there.. or delegate to another 3rd party DNS service.. there are so many options...
