    Script for photo albums

    I would like to include a sections with photos on my web site from different events in our community. Could somebody please suggest an easy-to-install script for photo albums? I am not going to have different accounts. I just want to be able to upload pictures and have look nice on my web site.

    Try searching on www.hotscripts.com they have a lots of scripts all categorized, and I am sure you will find what you are looking for

    Gallery is by far the most polished product out there IMHO, and is free. It kills photopost, which is massively overpriced and not as good a product. I've always regretted buying a photopost license

    Having said that, both would be huge overkill if all you want is a simple photo album.

    If your host have fantastico, Application Vault or Installatron than its just some clicks away.

    Else you have to download it and install. And you must have MYSQL and PHP on your host. And be able to create a MySql db and user.

    Then its easy.

    I use 4images: www.4homepages.de and is more than pleased with it. Huge userbase out there meaning good support, features are really nice and easy to use, and everything is a breeze. You really should check it out

    while in PHP you can resize images, I don't think you can apply antialiasing! Not sure, though

    I'd go with coppermine gallery. Its simple to install and pretty easy to modify the templates.

    I suggest Gallery too, It seems pretty active and popular open source script
