    remote desktop type thingy

    Hi all,

    Not been around here for a while but thought i might start to get myself a bit back in the comunity, see whats goin on etc

    For starters perhaps people could make some recomendations for me. Looking to start using remote desktop type affair. SOmebody was explaining to me how they use it and found it useful. Whats it all about, and what do you need to use it?

    I use VNC but I don't think its the best.

    you have to have windows profesional for that, which i don't have

    depends on what you need it for, but if it is just your home pc... a good free service is Log Me In Free

    they have paid versions as well for more features.

    did try that log me in thing, guess i was a little disapointed at how slow it is though.

    TightVNC is pretty good... sure it's not MS Remote Desktop, but it does the job!
